DRESS CODE: Girls: leotards, tights, dance skirt or leggings optional; Boys: Plain colored t-shirt, athletic shorts or pants. All: Any color ballet or jazz shoe, long hair secured in neat ponytail.
What is Little Limelight?
Little Limelight is a proprietary, comprehensive curriculum used by dance and theatre schools across the country to introduce young students to the magical world of Musical Theatre! Students will learn basics for dance, drama and vocal performance through fun-filled, action packed classes.
RHYTHMIC
Classes are intentionally designed with a predictable rhythm that allows students to feel safe and secure in knowing what comes next. This peaceful sense of predictability supports risk-taking and helps develop a sense of confidence.
PLAY-BASED
Each lesson offers ample space for movement and imagination, with thoughtfully designed transition times to help keep young students engaged and excited, while also honoring their need for structure and allowing time to process. Open-ended moments abound!
AGE-APPROPRIATE
Classes feature age and developmentally appropriate music, choreography, games and exercises, and skills. Our educational philosophy is child-centered and nurturing, allowing students to bring their full and true selves to every class.
